Today I want to talk a bit about a new term that I recently learnt. “Locus of Control” and how this concept can affect us achieving our goals. What is the Locus of Control? “The Master of Your Fate” Taken from one of my favourite poems, Invictus by Ernest Henley Napoleon Hill describes Henley poem in the very first chapter of his famous book Think and Grow Rich- in a sub- headline “Why You Are “The Master of Your Fate.” “When Henley wrote the prophetic lines, “I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul,” he should have informed us that we are the masters of our fate, the captain of our souls because we have the power to control our thoughts. He should have told us that our brains become magnetized with the dominating thoughts which we hold in our minds…” So does your thoughts generate into tangible things?
